Melisa Yıldırım and Swarupa Ananth present Hues of Imagination, an improvised musical dialogue between the Anatolian kamancha and Indian tabla. Yıldırım’s kamancha brings a rich, vocal character, while Ananth’s tabla supplies rhythmic pulse and elastic groove. Their performance brings together traditions with long histories through a shared contemporary approach, developing intricate textures, changing moods and spontaneous exchanges in the moment. The repertoire comprises Sepia Earth, Tinted Water, Vivid Fire and Two Tone Air.
