Del Amitri bring their Past to Present: Four Decades of Their Greatest Hits tour to Australia in 2027, tracing the band’s path from its early indie beginnings to international success. The programme highlights material associated with their 1989 breakthrough album Waking Hours, including “Nothing Ever Happens” and “Kiss This Thing Goodbye,” alongside early-1990s hits “Always the Last to Know” and “Roll to Me.” Formed in Glasgow in 1982 by Justin Currie, with guitarist Iain Harvie a long-standing creative presence, the group has released seven studio albums. Following their 2000s hiatus, they returned for reunion tours and released Fatal Mistakes in 2021, their first new collection in 18 years; they are also recording a new album for release later in 2026.
