Rachel Chinouriri makes her Australian debut in February following the announcement of her second album, I think I spoke too soon. The album continues on from her 2024 debut, What A Devastating Turn of Events, while expanding her alt-indie-pop sound. Framed as the story of one big night out, it follows a destabilising night that brings new self-understanding; lead single “One song away from crying” opens with glossy synth-pop and a cry-in-the-club resolve.
