Presented by the Imperial Ice Stars, The Nutcracker on Ice is directed artistically by Tony Mercer and performed to Tchaikovsky’s score. Clara receives a wooden nutcracker that comes to life, and, with the Sugar Plum Fairy as her guide, travels through magical landscapes, the Kingdom of Sweets and the Land of Snowflakes. The production combines theatrical storytelling and choreography with ice-skating and high-speed acrobatics on a frozen stage.
