Presented by the Imperial Ice Stars, The Nutcracker on Ice is Artistic Director Tony Mercer’s ice-skating staging of the fairytale, set to Tchaikovsky’s score. Clara receives a wooden nutcracker that comes to life and, guided by the Sugar Plum Fairy, travels through magical landscapes, the Kingdom of Sweets and the Land of Snowflakes. The production combines theatrical storytelling with choreographed ice skating and high-speed acrobatics on a frozen stage.
