Presented by the Imperial Ice Stars, The Nutcracker on Ice is a theatrical ice-skating production set to Tchaikovsky’s score. Artistic Director Tony Mercer’s production combines theatre with ice-skating, choreography and acrobatics. Clara receives a wooden nutcracker that comes to life, and the Sugar Plum Fairy leads her through shimmering landscapes, the Kingdom of Sweets and the Land of Snowflakes. The Imperial Ice Stars tell the familiar fairytale on a frozen stage.
