Presented by the Imperial Ice Stars and directed artistically by Tony Mercer, The Nutcracker on Ice sets Tchaikovsky’s score to theatre and ice-skating. Clara receives a wooden nutcracker that comes to life; with the Sugar Plum Fairy, she travels through shimmering landscapes, the Kingdom of Sweets and the Land of Snowflakes. The production combines choreography, high-speed skating acrobatics and dramatic storytelling on a frozen stage.
