Presented by the Imperial Ice Stars, this ice-theatre version of The Nutcracker is set to Tchaikovsky’s score and combines theatrical storytelling with ice skating, choreography, high-speed acrobatics and dramatic scenes. Clara receives a wooden nutcracker that comes to life; guided by the Sugar Plum Fairy, she travels through shimmering landscapes, the Kingdom of Sweets and the Land of Snowflakes. Artistic Director Tony Mercer created the production.
