Presented by the Imperial Ice Stars, The Nutcracker on Ice is set to Tchaikovsky’s score and combines theatre with ice-skating, choreography and acrobatics. Artistic Director Tony Mercer’s production follows Clara after her wooden nutcracker comes to life. Guided by the Sugar Plum Fairy, she travels through magical landscapes, the Kingdom of Sweets and the Land of Snowflakes. The story is performed on a frozen stage through the company’s skating and dramatic storytelling.
