Presented by the Imperial Ice Stars, The Nutcracker on Ice is Artistic Director Tony Mercer’s ice-staged adaptation of the fairytale, set to Tchaikovsky’s score. Clara receives a wooden nutcracker that comes to life and, guided by the Sugar Plum Fairy, travels through shimmering landscapes to the Kingdom of Sweets and the Land of Snowflakes. The production combines theatrical storytelling with the company’s ice-skating artistry, choreography and high-speed acrobatics.
