State Opera South Australia celebrates 50 years of the State Opera Chorus at St Peter’s Cathedral. Conducted by Anthony Hunt, the company’s Head of Music and Chorus Master, the programme centres on the Chorus and its contribution to State Opera. It ranges across operatic repertoire and choruses from Bizet, Bernstein, Puccini, Poulenc, Verdi and Wagner, among others. The performance runs for approximately two hours, including a 20-minute interval.
