Kick off the new year with fresh air, great company and one spectacular sunset.

Join us for the inaugural New Year's Sunset Graze at The George Tasmania, perched high on Mount George with breathtaking 270° views across the Tamar River, Tamar Valley and Bass Strait.

Bring your favourite people, picnic blanket or low-backed chairs and settle in for a relaxed afternoon in our unique coastal bush setting. Dining is casual with gourmet food and premium Tasmanian drinks available throughout the afternoon from our fully licensed Café Bar.

This is an outdoor event in a natural coastal bush setting. Uneven ground, changing weather and native wildlife form part of the experience.

🦘 We're sharing the lawn with the locals! Our resident wallabies love Mount George as much as we do. We'll prepare the lawns before the event, but as this is a natural bush environment, the occasional wallaby dropping may remain. Please take care where you walk and place picnic blankets or chairs.

Wear suitable footwear, bring sun protection and a light jacket, and follow all staff directions.

Please do not approach or feed native wildlife.
