The Inverlochy Art Connection - Seniors is an arts programme giving seniors(ages 65+) the opportunity to explore their creative side while connecting with others...all for free.

These sessions will develop and deepen mindfulness and enhance creativity through art techniques. This supportive environment sets out to create a deep sense of community in the hopes of reducing feelings of isolation whilst exploring different art mediums.

The programme is a mixed media experience where drawing and painting are used to teach the creative possibilities in the various art genres. No experience necessary.

This four week course runs on Friday mornings 16 October - 6 November and 13 Novermber - 4 December. It is proudly supported by Wellington City Council and fundraising efforts of the Inverlochy Art School community. We are also working closely with Age Concern Wellington.
