Growing our food
Growing our future
Growing community resilience
Come to an introductory meeting about Carb Club at St Peter’s Hall Saturday 16th May 1-2pm.
Carb Club is a community initiative where we connect, learn and grow clean, quality, affordable food together. It’s a proven model that’s working really well in the Wairarapa and we’re planning to start it here this Spring.
Gather once a month for a weekend morning with a bunch of other lovely people, do some mahi, have a potluck lunch and walk away in autumn with a lot of carbohydrate crops for the winter. We’ll grow pumpkins, potatoes, squash and more!
We provide the land, equipment, support and training. You provide the mahi and reap the goodies! We will share the cost of seeds and other resources. Tamariki welcome.
If you and your household are interested, come along to our community meeting at St Peters Hall on Saturday 16th May 1-2pm to find out more.
