Habit 7 focuses on the importance of connection and shared support in raising young people through the adolescent years.
Designed for parents and carers of students in Years 4 to 12, this session explores how strong networks between families, school and the wider community support wellbeing for both young people and parents. It recognises that parenting is not meant to be done alone.
Led by The Wellbeing Distillery, the workshop invites parents to reflect on their existing support networks and consider how shared language, collaboration and community strengthen family wellbeing. Practical strategies include identifying support people, engaging in parent connections and strengthening school–home partnerships.
Parents will leave with a clearer sense of how to build and lean into their parenting village, supporting wellbeing, connection and resilience over time.
