Krakerjack is an electrifying eight-piece ensemble from Wellington, bringing together beautiful harmonies, dazzling solos and a rich mix of sounds that range from soulful and atmospheric to lively and full of energy.

Drawing on Polish and Klezmer traditions, the band’s original compositions give old-world sounds a fresh new voice. Their music is distinctive, surprising and made to be heard live.

Since 2022, Krakerjack has been building a reputation for dynamic live performances, including a successful South Island tour in 2026. Their music crosses borders and generations, with plenty to discover.
