Song Weaving - Festival Eve Songwriting Workshop for Teens with Mo’Ju & Eliza Hull
Saturday 10 October | 6.00pm–8.00pm | Newstead Red Shed | $35 | Limited Places | Ages 13 - 18y
Young songwriters! Join two extraordinary Australian artists, Eliza Hull and Mo’Ju, for an intimate, hands-on creative experience exploring writing, lyrics, storytelling and finding your own voice. This is your chance to work closely with both artists, rather than simply watch from the audience. Participants will split into two small groups, spending time with each artist to write, experiment, share ideas and explore how stories and ideas become lyrics. At the end, everyone will come back together to share what they’ve discovered and created.
Set in Newstead’s historic Arts Hub and Red Shed gallery and workshop spaces, this is a rare opportunity for young writers and creatives to learn directly from two brilliant artists in a unique setting.
