The Torch Songs Band has been a feature of the Waikato and Bay of Plenty Jazz scenes for over 35 years. The band grew around the original duo of Liam Ryan (keyboards) and Carol,Storey (vocals) to include some of the nation's best including longstanding musical friends Dave Maybee (guitar), Grant Mason (trumpet), Wayne Melville (bass) and Neil Reynolds (drums).
