Wheelchair Yoga for Mental Health Week

Move. Breathe. Connect.

Join ParaQuad Tasmania for a free, fully accessible adaptive yoga session this Mental Health Week.

This gentle, 45 minute session is designed for people with physical disability and spinal cord injury and welcomes carers and allied health professionals too. Led by Ange Miezitis, a qualified adaptive yoga instructor from Onsen Wellbeing, the session is suitable for all abilities and prior yoga experience is not required.

Following the session, stay on for coffee and conversation at Rivulet Cafe, C3 Convention Centre. It's a relaxed chance to connect with others in the community, share a coffee, and hear more about ParaQuad Tasmania's free Propel Peer Coaching program.

This year's Mental Health Week theme is "Appreciate the little things." For many of us, a slow breath, a good stretch, or simply feeling welcome in a room are the little things that make a real difference. This event was created with that spirit in mind.
