To celebrate the release of his third single 'healthily obsessed', Osheen is putting on a once-off special night of music at The Woodshed.

If you've never been to an Osheen performance, think singer-songwriter roots (Hozier, Matt Corby, Gregory Alan Isakov) mixed with tasteful, easy listening rock (Kings of Leon, old school Coldplay, The Verve). Often writing from a place of self reflection and honesty, audiences find Osheen's music relatable, accessible and thought-provoking wrapped in catchy melodies and driving grooves.

The Irish born musician came onto the scene in 2023 as a solo acoustic act and soon after built a world-class band with Isaac Barnes on bass, Hiriwa Rikihana on Drums and Austyn Mills on keys and guitar.

And opening the night is Merlia, a Tāmaki Makaurau-based artist, has an eclectic sound with her musical blend of folk, pop, jazz, and even flavours of alt rock. Making waves with her first two singles ‘Sicily’ and ‘Magic Woman’ this year. Her performances are always immersive and richly textured with the harmonies and sensitive playing from her bandmates.
