What is a Naked Awakening Workshop?

Naked Awakening is a 3.5-hour women’s nude yoga workshop created by Rosie Rees. It is designed to support women in releasing shame and reconnecting with their bodies, their voice, and their personal power.

During the workshop, participants are guided through a series of intentional practices & rituals that encourage them to shed not only their clothing, but also layers of self-doubt, protective armour, and limiting beliefs that may have been shaped by past experiences or societal conditioning.

Nudity within this space is approached as an act of self-acceptance rather than exposure. The workshop is held in a safe, warm, candlelit environment where women are invited to move at their own pace while building trust in their bodies, their breath, and the supportive presence of other women.

The experience includes gentle nude yin yoga, breathwork, meditation, relaxation, journalling, partner connection exercises, somatic relase techniques and guided self-reflection. These practices are designed to help regulate the nervous system, reduce self-judgement, build body trust, and strengthen a woman’s connection to herself, her desires, and her sense of worth.

The Workshop Theme: Being Seen + Visible

This month’s Naked Awakening invites women to release the fear of being seen and reclaim their right to take up space.

So many women have learned to hide, shrink or perform to avoid judgement, rejection or being misunderstood. This can show up everywhere—in the bedroom, in business, in relationships and in everyday life. We silence our desires, censor our voices, hide our bodies and hold back the fullest expression of who we are.

Through nude yoga, somatic practices, breathwork and conscious connection, we will explore what it feels like to be witnessed without needing to perform, prove or perfect ourselves.

Together, we’ll soften the armour that keeps us hidden and practise expressing our bodies, voices, boundaries and desires more freely.

Being seen is not about becoming louder or more confident. It is about feeling safe enough to be who you already are—unfiltered, unapologetic and fully alive.
