Mexican guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela bring their January 2027 Australian tour in celebration of their album OurHome. The record returns to textural acoustic instrumentation after the electric-guitar emphasis of 2023’s In Between Thoughts…A New World, and its collaborators include Marty Friedman, Hiromi, Hiyori Okuda, and Yukihiro Atsumi. The programme highlights new material from OurHome alongside fan favourites. Singles include “Monster,” inspired by Naoki Urasawa’s manga, and “OurHome,” a meditative piece centred on inner grounding and emotional clarity. The duo’s sound combines acoustic guitar, classical finesse, rock and metal influence, percussion, and spiritual themes.
