Enjoy a relaxed lunchtime walking tour through the heart of Brisbane's Cultural Centre precinct, discovering the stories behind some of the city's most significant First Nations public artworks.

Beginning at the Gallery of Modern Art forecourt, you'll be welcomed with a warm cup of lemon myrtle tea before setting off on an easy stroll to explore 5–8 nearby public artworks, each just a short walk apart. Along the way, your Aboriginal Art Co guide will share insights into the artists, cultural significance and stories embedded within each work, offering a deeper understanding of First Nations perspectives, history and contemporary expression in the public realm.

The tour concludes at Floriate, Brian Robinson's striking new sculpture outside the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

What to bring: We recommend bringing a water bottle, hat and umbrella, as much of the tour takes place outdoors and is exposed to the weather.
