You're invited to a new year’s festival adventure with 3 days and nights of summer fun across 4 stages and over 200 music, performing and visual artists.
AUM is the largest new year’s festival in the Auckland region and known for its great vibes and friendly atmosphere. Each summer we create a mind-blowing party with fully themed stages and decor, and some of the best quality sound, lights and visuals seen anywhere in New Zealand.
AUM is the place to be over new years if you want to dance all night, take part in fun workshops, watch shows, or to just chill. And it happens at a stunning location only an hour north of Auckland city near Parakai/Helensville.
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT AUM FESTIVAL?
AUM showcases music by local legends and international guests across house, drum & bass, psytrance, techno, dub, bass house, breaks, organic house, psychedelic rock, chillout and more. We have an extensive workshop and Healing Glade schedule, a crafts marketplace, food, and a bunch of family-friendly activities and entertainment too.
AUM is a festival adventure where smiles, friendship, sharing, sustainability, music, art, colour, technical wizardry, healing, imagination, laughter and joy combine. It's a festival for everyone, young and old, owned and run by people who have a passion for dance parties, raves, art and camping.

WHERE IS AUM?
AUM is located on a farm about an hour north of central Auckland at South Head peninsula. It is one the most beautiful, spacious, lush, well-appointed festival campgrounds in the country. The site is also sand based so drains quickly and can't turn muddy if it rains.
ZERO WASTE CULTURE
AUM aspires to be zero waste. Bring your own rubbish bags to take care of your own rubbish (food waste/compost available on site). If you see anything accidentally discarded, please pick it up and be a good example to those around you. We love our land and the people and animals in it.
INCLUSIVE TICKETS
Tickets are inclusive which means they include camping, showers (hot/cold) and safe drinking water. Parking is included for cars.
LARGE VEHICLE PASSES
Large vehicles need to buy a separate Large Vehicle pass (for buses, RVs, caravans or similar) if they plan to go in the camping area. They can be found in add-ons near the bottom of the ticket page. They can also be bought later after you have got your festival ticket.

BUY YOUR TICKET IN INSTALMENTS
Flicket offers options to pay by installment over several months, and also Afterpay. It's easier to spread the cost by paying your ticket off. These options are found during the checkout.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH TICKETS / AGE REQUIREMENTS
AUM is family friendly and you must be 18 years old at the start date of the festival to attend by yourself. Everyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian who also has a ticket and who must care for them on site at all times. Note: Older siblings or friends cannot be considered as guardians. If you have any questions please message us on Facebook or Instagram.
IDs of all attendees are checked at the gate. Anyone under 18 years old will be denied entry unless they are accompanied by their parent/legal guardian who is also attending.
Children and youth tickets are available as ADD-ONS to adult tickets. Once you have selected your adult tickets you can add children/youth tickets. If you need to add children's tickets after your adult ticket purchase you can add them later.
AUM FESTIVAL IS AN ALL WEATHER EVENT
Please remember:
Bring Cash (limited eftpos available)
No Glass
No Dogs or other pets
No Fires or fireworks (gas cookers only, and they must be raised off the ground)
No Sound Systems
No Generators
Remember to come fully prepared for 3 days of fun! Pass Outs are for emergency only
AUM IS GLASS FREE
GLASS IS NOT PERMITTED ON SITE. Any glass brought will be confiscated and not returned. Cars will be searched at the gate.

POSTPONEMENT/CANCELLATION
Engage Events Limited (AUM) reserves the right to schedule postponement dates in case of weather or public health changes which prevent this event from running on the scheduled days. Tickets will be honoured on future postponement dates. In the event that we are unable to secure a premium weekend date (Friday or Saturday) we reserve the right to run the event on another week day as required.
Note: partial refunds will not be offered in the case of any date changes meaning a person cannot attend the entire festival.
