Assorted Sporks is offering a writing group/ workshop!

Second Sunday of the Month! Tickets are $20 with flexible options for people who need it.

What to Expect

Queer and LGBTQIA+ Friendly

Bring a Poem or work in progress that you would like feedback, or an ideas session with. (optional)

Participate in a free write session.

Writing prompts and exercises.

We will discuss how to give useful and considerate feedback.

We will look at ways to understand and critique different types of poetry.

It will be fun.

Great for overcoming writers block.

You will get a chance to perform your work and to practise performing it.

Please try to get your ticket in advance of the workshop or let us know you are coming, it helps us to know how many resources we need for each participant.

Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds. If more people attend then we can give useful feedback to in a session, then we will take it in turns each month.
