Step into a world of imagination, courage, and mystery as Northland Youth Theatre’s New Works by the Junior Company present a brand-new collection of original stories, performed by our youngest cohort.

Across five short pieces, groups of adventurous kids encounter friendships put to the test, a ball game with the power to shake the heart, a family making a questionable dash into an orchard alongside a particularly naughty grandmother, and a journey all the way to the moon. Moving between the everyday and the extraordinary, these stories explore trust, courage, connection, mischief, imagination and the unexpected moments that can change everything.

Developed in collaboration with emerging writers from our community and rangatahi directors, this show showcases the next generation of storytellers.

Perfect for whānau, friends, and anyone who loves bold, original theatre made by young people.
