Eungedup

Sat 10 Oct 2pm - 3pm

Fremantle Library, Perth

Nestled between Albany and Denmark, the Eungedup wetlands are brimming with vibrant life.

Drawn to this biodiverse wonderland at a time when he was also negotiating life with chronic fatigue, Giles Watson captured his immersion in the wetlands in lyrics, poetry and prose.

In this special event for Totally Lit, Giles will share his impressions of the beauty and phenomenal biodiversity of the wetlands in an illustrated lecture that will include spoken word, poetry, bird song and other audiovisual material.

Things to note:

  • This is a free event but bookings are encouraged.

  • Afternoon tea will be provided courtesy of the Library.

Presented by the artist in association with Totally Lit and Fremantle Library.
