Air Force in Concert featuring Bret McKenzie

Bret McKenzie is a Grammy and Academy Award-winning songwriter and performer, internationally celebrated for his work with Flight of the Conchords and his distinctive voice in film and television. Known for crafting songs that are witty, heartfelt, and unmistakably original, his work has been performed by an extraordinary range of global artists and characters alike.
Joining him on stage is the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band, a premier reserve force military ensemble based in the heart of Wellington. Comprised of some of the country's leading professional musicians, the band is equally at home performing for state occasions at Government House and Parliament as it is on stage in concert.
Fun for the whole family, Air Force in Concert featuring Bret McKenzie will take place on 8 November at the Michael Fowler Centre, Wellington. Bret will perform hits from The Muppets, Flight of the Conchords, The Black Seeds, his latest album, and more. The band will also showcase a range tunes from symphonic favourites and toe-tapping marches to movie classics and pop hits. Under the direction of Bandmaster Warrant Officer Ben Robertson, all be brought to life with the glorious power and magnificent colour of the RNZAF Band.
