Nat Wendell is a DJ and producer with a strong connection to his sound and a long standing place within house music. Since the late 90s, his focus has remained the same.Creating music and sets with feelings and character.
Now based in Berlin, Nat has become part of the city’s rich underground scene, regularly appearing at some of its most respected venues, including Berghain / Panorama Bar, Heideglühen and Sisyphos. His sound is rooted in house music, bringing together deep and soulful sounds with influences from garage, soundsystem culture and the energy of 90s New York house.
Nat’s musical identity began in London, growing up surrounded by a mix of cultures and sounds. His early connection to Caribbean music, with its roots in gospel, dancehall and soul, shaped the way he listened to music from an early age. Alongside this came the influence of London’s soundsystem and garage culture, as well as the soulful house music coming out of New York in the 90s.
After moving to Berlin, Nat’s music began reaching a wider audience through releases on respected labels including Courtesy of Balance, thisisnegentropy and King Street Sounds, alongside his own imprint, Depths of My Soul. His most recent work also includes a collaboration with house music legend Robert Owens.
On the dancefloor, Nat’s sets are all about feeling and connection. His ability to build an atmosphere and work with the energy of a room makes each set feel personal, with a strong focus on the people in front of him.
His music has now taken him around the world, from festivals including Dekmantel and Fusion to tours across Europe, North and South America, and performances in New York City, a place that has been a major influence on his musical journey.
Joining Nat for the night are Adam Sillars and Nicholas Ching, bringing their own sounds to the room before Nat takes over for what will be another special night at Paradiso.
