Join us at St Stephen’s Uniting Church - Martin Place in Sydney on Saturday, 19th September for the Colombia Earthquake Relief Concert — an afternoon of classical and Colombian music, contemporary composition, and a unique cultural dialogue between Australia and Colombia, raising funds to support communities affected by the recent earthquake in Colombia.
Presented entirely on a pro bono basis, the concert will feature flute, harp, and strings in a programme spanning Mozart, Debussy, Massenet, and Piazzolla, alongside Colombian music and new works by Colombian composer and arranger Bernardo Alviz.
The programme will include Elegy, composed especially for the Colombia Earthquake Relief Concert, as well as performances of Colombia Tierra Querida and Los Caminos de la Vida, arranged for the full ensemble.

Supporting Colombia
This is a fundraising concert with a PAY WHAT YOU CAN ticket model. We want everyone who wishes to stand with Colombia to be able to attend. Those who are able to contribute are warmly encouraged to do so.
If you are unable to attend the concert — whether you are overseas or simply cannot make it on the day — you can still support the cause by making a donation on the following page without booking a ticket.
The musicians, artists and organising team are contributing their time and work on a pro bono basis. All funds received by the concert organisers through ticket contributions will be donated to the Colombian Red Cross to support its humanitarian response in Colombia.
Humanitix platform and payment processing fees apply separately.
Additional contributions will also be welcomed during the concert. Electronic contributions made at St Stephen’s will be processed through the church’s EFTPOS facilities and directed to the same humanitarian cause.
Following the event, all funds raised through the concert will be reconciled and transferred to the Colombian Red Cross.
Every contribution helps transform an afternoon of music into meaningful humanitarian support for Colombia.
