Dance Wave presents:
DANCE OF THE BLOOM – SPRING EQUINOX GATHERING
A NEW CYCLE BEGINS
The Celtic/Pagan Wheel of the Year that forms the foundation of our events begins anew at the Spring Equinox as the earth awakens and young seeds begin to sprout (life) after the slumber of Winter (death). We are excited to mark this auspicious occasion with our first gathering of this new cycle on Saturday 19 September for Dance of the Bloom.
Elkemist will guide us on a somatic embodiment experience to ground and warm-up our bodies before he takes us on a deep and expansive dance journey with live yidaki/didjeridoo, vocals, flute and percussion. He will also lead the Equinox ceremony that will be seamlessly woven into our journey and bring intention to our dance experience.
Soulphonious will share some Theta healing during our warm-up and bath us in the resonant frequencies of 432Hz tuning and Solfeggio tones – weaving a rich, hybrid soundscape using organic acoustic instruments including crystal singing bowls, gongs, Native American drone flute, and tuning forks, layered with live Ableton synths and live looping.
This deeply immersive experience features:
Equinox ceremony
dance journey
sound bath (including live music throughout)
somatic movement guidance and Theta healing
community dinner and integration time to follow
Grab your ticket today and join us to plant the seeds of the Spring season and see your manifestations grow with intention at Dance of the Bloom.

DRESS
We’re inviting you to dress with a touch of mystical energy – elves, faeries, magickal creatures or pagan, Celtic, witchy vibes – however you feel, we encourage you to express your magickal self through dress at this gathering.
This sacred gathering is held on the stolen land of the sovereign Wurundjeri people. Dance Wave recognise that we have benefited from colonialism to the detriment of First Nations people, and acknowledge the Wurundjeri people as the wisdom-keepers of the waters, trees, lands and animals, and it is our intention with this acknowledgement to help heal the connection between all beings of the larger Kulin nation, activating the blackfella/whitefella dreaming that has been prophesied to bring us into balance and harmony, for the betterment of all.
