Chamber Music New Zealand in association with Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival presents 'Ā mua'.

Multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, academic, and sound artist Riki Pirihi, and award-winning author Tina Makereti, bring kupu, taonga puoro and orchestral strings together in this a new work commissioned by Chamber Music New Zealand.

Ā mua takes Māori futurism, whakapapa and taiao as its starting points and spirals to form connections across time.
