Known for her infectious pop hooks, heartfelt lyricism and captivating live performances, Emerson has quickly become one of Aotearoa's most exciting emerging artists. Her debut EP explores the highs and lows of growing up—self-doubt, first love, resilience and taking chances—with songs that are both deeply personal and instantly memorable.

About the EP
The eight-song EP captures the messy, magnetic and deeply personal world of being a teenager on the edge of something new. Reflecting on the project, Emerson says:
“This collection of songs represents the tip of the iceberg of my thoughts going through life as a teenager. The songs touch on self-doubt, self-motivation, and different ways I’ve given and taken love. It’s called Leap! because I started my solo project on a leap year and took a leap of faith, and I hope this EP can compel you to take that leap too.”
Since winning the Smokefree Rockquest Solo-Duo Award in 2024, Emerson has built a dedicated following across New Zealand and Australia with her infectious hooks, honest lyricism and electric live energy, establishing her as one of Aotearoa’s most exciting emerging pop artists. The EP drops 28th August, 2026.
