Whangārei Glass Ceiling Rangatahi class invites you to come rock the 80’s with them as they perform their version of the outstanding Musical Production of Rock of Ages - Youth Edition for 3 shows only.

Think Glam rock - big hair - big shoulder pads and big anthem songs, which you will probably know off by heart – you will be encouraged to sing-a long and join in the party with our incredible performers, showcasing the very best of inclusive theatre to our Whangārei Community and beyond !

Set in 1987 Hollywood, ⁠Rock of Ages- Youth Edition follows small-town arrivals Sherrie and Drew as they meet at the legendary, Sunset Strip, The Dupree Room. When real estate developers threaten to demolish the strip, a fading rock star's final concert, young romance, and classic 1980s anthems collide in a high-energy blast from the 80’s past !

Opening night will provide an opportunity for you to make it a group event and to enjoy a drink at the bar pre-show and to make a booking for a gourmet snack plate. There will be spot prizes for best dressed 80’s Rockers – so come along to have a fabulous night whilst supporting a local charity and ‘Don’t stop believing ‘ in a good time !
