Build your own storage rack/shoe rack using reclaimed timber in this full-day workshop focused on practical skills and creative making. You’ll be introduced to tools like drills, jigsaws and sanders, learning how to use them safely and confidently with support from our experienced facilitators.
By the end of the day, you’ll take home a functional shoe storage rack made by you, along with new skills and the confidence to keep creating!
What You'll Learn and Do:
Tool safety and handling basics
Step-by-step project instructions
Use of key power tools (drill, jigsaw/skill saw, sanders)
What to Bring and Wear:
Covered shoes
Fitted clothing (no loose or flowing items)
Weather-appropriate clothes (some parts of the workshop may be outdoors)
Bring your own snack, lunch, and a water bottle - there will be breaks throughout the day
All materials and tools are provided. No experience needed
