11AM - LITTLE YARNS: FAMILY READ-A-THON

Bookshop Day marks the start of 'Little Yarns', an off-shoot of Yarns in Barns: Wairarapa Festival of Reading designed to help kids fall in love with reading!

A week of free author events for tamariki starts with Masterton Library hosting a Family Read-a-Thon! Bring the kids, your books and a picnic and we'll read together in the sunshine.

11am-1pm Town Hall Park, Free

3PM - CREATOR TALK: HE WROTE / SHE WROTE

Join us at 3pm for a conversation between two of the Wairarapa's most talented storytellers. Husband and wife team, Noelle McCarthy and John Daniell in conversation about her memoir, Stakes, and his hit podcast about a Wairarapa-born spy, The Agency.

Then we’re amping up the magic of browsing a Bookshop by hiding prizes on our shelves for you to find all day
