Sun 20 Sep 3pm - 5pm
Discover the healing power of nature with a guided forest bathing (Shinrin-yoku) experience in the heart of Adelaide. Led by a qualified Forest Bathing Practitioner, this gentle 2-hour session invites you to slow down, awaken your senses, and reconnect with the living world.
What to expect:
In the gardens' serene setting, you'll be guided through the mindfulness invitations that awaken your senses and help you feel more grounded and present.
Much of the experience unfolds in shared silence - a rare chance to step away from words and attune to the subtle sounds, textures, sights, and scents of nature.
There will be moments to share reflections with others in the group, fostering a sense of connection and community.
The experience concludes with a calming tea ceremony - a moment to pause, savour, and integrate the journey.
This is not a hike - it's an invitation to pause, wander slowly, become curious, and allow the body and mind to recalibrate.
Why it's special:
Guided by a qualified Forest Bathing Practitioner
Benefits are well supported by scientific research: reduced stress, anxiety and depression; improved sleep quality; strengthened immunity; and greater focus and concentration
Intentionally slow-paced - no rush, no expectations
Small group size for personal experience
Perfect antidote to busy lives
