The 25th-anniversary concert presents Howard Shore’s original score to The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring performed live alongside the complete film. Shore’s Academy Award- and Grammy Award-winning music is framed as a large-scale symphonic work that brings J.R.R. Tolkien’s imagination and Peter Jackson’s film narrative to life. The score is performed in sync with the film, giving the music a central dramatic role in the live concert experience.
