Liyan is the artist behind Coastal Craft, creating one-of-a-kind artworks from driftwood and reclaimed timber collected along the Central Coast. Her whimsical villages, paintings and handcrafted pieces celebrate the beauty of natural materials and the stories they hold.

Liyan's creative journey began during the COVID-19 lockdowns, when she and her four-year-old daughter spent their days collecting driftwood from local beaches and transforming it into imaginative creations. What started as a shared family activity has grown into a thriving artistic practice, inspired by the coast, sustainability and the joy of creating something unique from nature's treasures.
