Behind Vintage Vinyl is Mike Preece, a lifelong music enthusiast and experienced DJ whose love of rock 'n' roll, Motown, the swinging sixties and seventies disco began long before vinyl records made their comeback.

After years of DJing at clubs, pubs, weddings and parties in the UK, Mike brought his passion for music to New Zealand, where he revived his vintage record collection and created Vintage Vinyl.

Expect an afternoon filled with familiar favourites, forgotten gems and the kind of songs that take you straight back to another time. Whether you remember dancing to seventies disco, singing along to Motown classics or enjoying the sounds of early rock 'n' roll, there's plenty to bring a smile — and perhaps get those feet moving.

Settle in with wood-fired pizza, local wines and Northland craft beers, and enjoy an afternoon of music, memories and relaxed riverside atmosphere in the historic Kerikeri Basin, Bay of Islands.
