REMEMBERING WHITNEY

Remembering Whitney is a Sydney, Australia-based show that honours the very great Whitney Houston. In "Remembering Whitney", Keyboard-player/Musical Director Sam McNally takes pride in introducing the spectacular and very experienced Bec Caruana, and emerging new artists Sheena Wilbow (known and loved in Sydney's Soul/Funk music community) and Aaliyah Duschesne. These three girls are more than capable of tackling the Whitney song-book. Together, they're dynamite.

Whitney Houston is one of the most awarded performers of all time. A "cultural icon", she influenced the breaking down of gender and race barriers through her music chart successes, and her music video's. Whitney was ranked second on Rolling Stone's list of "greatest singers of all time" in 2023.

She achieved sales of more than 220 million records sold, world-wide. Her first two albums, along with The Bodyguard soundtrack, rank among the "best- selling albums of all time". Guinness World Records named Whitney Houston the "highest-earning female celebrity" (posthumously). More simply, Whitney is held in the highest esteem by virtually all of the world's great vocal performers. For many female singers, she is simply "the best".
