Well well well, if it isn't Christmas come early — a Friday AND an improv show in the same week?
Thank God It’s Theatre is a monthly Friday improv show and drinks to kick off your Friday evening with a laugh. Doors open at 5:00pm with a casual open mic and freeform improv performance. The stage and mic is yours, so feel free to prepare a bit to share with a community of peers.
Then at 6:00pm, your host Nick will hop on stage and facilitate Sink or Swim, an improv standoff between teams of Canberra's most generously seasoned thespians. Over the course of multiple rounds, the audience will vote (by how loudly they cheer) as to whose improvised story will proceed to a final head-to-head. You're welcome to participate too! Bring a friend to compete, or come by and meet a future teammate.
5:00pm-7:00pm. Show up and leave as you please.

Getting there...
Blank Offices is a suite within the independent arts centre, Blank Cultural Platform (BCP). BCP is located across the ground, first, and second floor of 131 City Walk, Civic, Canberra. You might know it as the corner building with the longstanding King O'Malleys Irish Pub.
To get to Blank Offices, enter the building via Mort St - it's on the side with the bus interchange. We're a 5 minute (400m) walk from the Alinga St light rail, a 5 minute walk from the Canberra Centre carpark (300m), a 30 second walk from the City Bus Exchange, and there are plenty of bike racks outside our building too.
Once you come through the Mort St autodoors, take the lift to Floor 2. Upon exiting, turn left and walk down the corridor. Tada! You have arrived.

Please message the host if you require an accessible car park. The elevator to Blank Offices has a width of 80cm. There is an accessible bathroom on the first floor of the building that the event host can gladly take you to upon request.
