Climate Canvas: Awards

Celebrate the finalists of Climate Canvas, a visual art exhibition exploring our changing environment through creativity, hope and innovation.

About the event

Join us for the awards celebration as we announce the judges’ winners and the people's choice awards, that were voted on throughout the week at the exhibition. Tonight we celebrate the artists and their visions for a sustainable future.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place, along with the People’s Choice award, all generously provided by Creative Bay of Plenty.

Guests are also invited to take part in the Community Loom Project, a special collaborative art experience: weave a thread, add a row, and become part of a living tapestry shaped by everyone who visits.

Enjoy light nibbles and bubbles as we celebrate the power of art to inspire change.

If you would like to vote for your favourite entry for the People’s Choice award, be sure to visit the exhibition before this event, as voting closes at 1pm on Sunday, 20 September.

The exhibition is open for viewing, voting and weaving between 9am - 1pm, Thursday 17th - Sunday 20th September.
