Welcome to Glitter Gel Pen Book Club, a Sydney meet-up for like-minded girlies who want to romanticise their lives, read sugary romance novels, and yap about them IRL. We’re here for the “frivolous” feel-good fiction, creating a space to unapologetically enjoy and discuss books beyond the 19th-century literary canon. So if you’re in your twenties or thirties, craving a little escapism, and love a rom-com with your rosé in an aesthetic setting, consider this your new favourite cal invite.

This month, we're taking over the private dining room at Mille Vini, one of our favourite wine bars in Surry Hills. Expect a long-table dinner, a curated shared Italian menu and a room full of like-minded women.

This meet-up is part of our supper club stream of Glitter Gel Pen Book Club, designed to slow down, romanticise your life, and get to know like-minded girls while we talk books (and just about everything else). There’ll be worksheets and prompt cards to guide conversation, but the evening is intentionally relaxed and unstructured. Most of our guests come solo, and it’s one of the easiest ways to make friends in Sydney! We’ve taken care of the vibes, the details, and the venue; all that’s left for you to do is arrive and enjoy.
