Rebirth Brass Band brings its New Orleans brass-band sound to Wellington for its Aotearoa debut. Founded by brothers Phil and Keith Frazier, the ensemble has spent more than 40 years combining brass-band tradition with funk, soul, R&B and jazz. Its performances pair infectious grooves with bold improvisation, drawing on roots in French Quarter and second-line parade gigs. The band has shared stages and collaborated with artists including James Brown, U2 and Trombone Shorty.
