CAPE YORK FOLK CLUB Inc, are proud to present the 24th Wallaby Creek Festival, a 3 day celebration of music and the arts, at Wallaby Creek, 720 Shipton's Flat Road, Rossville, surrounded by the beautiful wet tropics rainforest of the far north. The festival is held in the middle week of the September Queensland school holidays each year at Rossville, 300 kms north of Cairns and 30kms south of Cooktown.

The three day program offers music with something for everyone, on 2 main stages, and a third stage, a jam/chalkboard stage. Poets Breakfast, and a packed workshops schedule, Dance, roving street theatre, a complete Children's Festival, delicious food stalls, healing spaces & market stalls, complement the entertainment.

Camping is included in the three day festival with bush showers and toilets.

Wallaby Creek Festival is a wonderful family-focused event.

In December 2023, Wallaby Creek Festival site was heavily impacted by flooding and the renewal is ongoing and we are fundraising to purchase our home.
