Shaun Tan is an artist, writer, and filmmaker from Perth, Western Australia, the recipient of an Academy Award, the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award and the Kate Greenaway Medal. He lives in Melbourne with his wife, two children and various plants, animals and machines.
