Introduction to Woodwork - Auckland (Saturday 19 Sep 2026)

Sat 19 Sep 10am - 4pm

WOMENZSHED, Auckland

Always wanted to learn woodwork but not sure where to start?

This beginner-friendly workshop is designed especially for women with little or no woodworking experience, or those looking for some confidence in power-tool use. In a relaxed and supportive environment, you'll learn how to safely use a wide range of common woodworking tools and machinery while building practical skills and confidence.

Our small class sizes means you'll receive plenty of individual guidance and hands-on time using the tools. By the end of the day, you'll have completed a practical woodworking project and gained the confidence to tackle future projects of your own.

No previous experience is needed - just come along ready to learn, have a go, and discover how rewarding woodworking can be.

Once completed, you can continue your woodworking journey into our Woodworking Skills: Building Shelf-Esteem, carpentry or cabinetry classes.
