Reconnect is a nurturing weekend retreat created especially for mothers and daughters aged 15+ to step away from everyday routines, spend meaningful time together and strengthen their connection.

Across the weekend, you’ll enjoy a carefully designed blend of wellbeing, personal development, creativity, relaxation and shared experiences — all in the peaceful surroundings of Riverdell Spiritual Centre.

Whether your daughter is in her teens or an adult, Reconnect offers a beautiful opportunity to slow down, have fun together, learn more about one another and create memories that will last long after the weekend is over.

What you’ll experience

Love Languages & Coming from Fear to Connection

Led by Life Coach Jane Donovan, these sessions explore how we each give and receive love differently, how misunderstandings can arise, and how greater awareness can help strengthen communication and connection.

Crystal Bowl Sound Healing

Relax deeply as you experience the calming vibrations of crystal singing bowls — a beautiful opportunity to unwind, switch off and simply be present.

Tai Chi & Yoga

Gentle movement sessions designed to support relaxation, balance and wellbeing. No previous experience is required.

Cooking Together

Enjoy a fun, collaborative cooking experience where mothers and daughters can work together, learn new skills and share the simple pleasure of creating something side by side.

Self-Care & Pampering

Take some time just for you with nurturing self-care activities, including nail care, relaxation and simple practices that encourage greater wellbeing.

Fashion, Colour & Style

Explore colour, style and clothing in a positive and enjoyable session designed to help participants better understand what suits them and feel more confident in their personal style.

Your hosts

Rachel Sanderson – Retreat Host

Rachel is the founder of Flourish with Rachel and has decades of experience helping women and young people build confidence, communication skills, self-belief and personal presentation. Through Flourish with Rachel, she now brings together retreats and experiences designed to help people pause, reconnect and flourish.

Jane Donovan – Life Coach

Jane is a Life Coach, author and podcaster who works with people to improve relationships, self-awareness and connection. Jane will guide participants through the Love Languages and Coming from Fear to Connection sessions across the weekend.

Your stay

Reconnect is held at the peaceful Riverdell Spiritual Centre at Hillier, providing a lovely setting to step away from everyday life and enjoy uninterrupted time together.

Accommodation is provided in comfortable twin-share rooms, allowing each mother-and-daughter pair to share their own retreat experience.
