Need to Knows:

UC Student ONLY

This event is for current UC Students only! You will require valid UC Student ID for entry. This must be your physical card. If you have lost yours throughout the year, please get a replacement from UC Security.

The ONLY EXCEPTION is for ARA Students living at a UC Halls of Residence - Proof of address required at arrival of the event, i.e., letter or bank statement with address.

Names on Ticket

Your ticket & official ID names must all match. If they don’t, head to Flicket to name or transfer your ticket.

ID & Tickets

This is an R18 event. A current and valid age ID is required at Tea Party ’26. We will only accept the following forms of valid IDs:

• Current NZ Driver’s Licence,

• Current HANZ 18+ Card,

• Current Kiwi Access card

• Current passport (NZ or overseas).

Photos or photocopies will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Please ensure you have your Student ID card on you. No UC ID, No Entry.

Intox

You’ll be refused entry if you’re intoxicated.

Gates Open

Gates open at 10:30 am, and close at 12:30 pm.

Please arrive early to avoid any potential queues and check out the support acts.

Do not push in the line. Anyone caught pushing will be denied entry. When you are in line, be patient – if you meet the conditions of entry* you will get in.

This DOES NOT mean arrive at 12:30pm – make sure you arrive early!

*Your entry will still be dependent on you having a ticket, passing the ID, ticket and intox checks etc.

Wristbands

You will be wrist-banded upon arrival at the event. Look after your wristband. Anyone found without a wristband will be removed from the event by security.

No Pass Outs

Once you leave, you will not be permitted to re-enter the venue.

Costumes

Tea Party is all about the costumes – wear something epic!

No offensive costumes, cultural appropriation and no weapons (or anything resembling a weapon).

Footwear

You must have closed-toe footwear with a heel strap. Bare feet, jandals, heels, Birkenstock's, and shoes without a backstrap are NOT ACCEPTABLE, and you will be asked to change them before being allowed entry.

Crocs are fine – but only in sport mode.

Food & Drink

Our Free Food Tent will be running all day, including Gluten Free and Vegan options, and our mates at Red Frogs will be serving up some delicious free pancakes! We have free water stations across the festival site to keep you hydrated. We got you!

Liquor Ban

Remember there’s a Liquor Ban in effect, so consuming alcohol on the street will result in a $250 fine. Police will enforce this. A map of this liquor ban area will be posted on socials.

No Glass

Please don't bring any glass with you! This includes (but is not limited to) mirrors, perfume and makeup.

Ticket QR Code

Your ticket QR Code will not be available until Monday 12th October at 10:30 am. In the meantime, you can still resell your ticket if your plans change by going through Flicket's resale process.
