About Andrew James

A professional singer and performer since 1994, Andrew James began his tribute to Phil Collins and Genesis in 2006. Hailing from Nottingham, England, he has graced stages ranging from intimate theatres to grand cruise liners, drawing on a wealth of experience that few tribute artists can match. Those who hear him sing quickly discover something rare: a vocal range and power that captures the essence of Phil Collins with remarkable authenticity.

Andrew's talent has been recognised by The Stage newspaper, which described his performance as follows.

"Swaggering around in the style of Collins the Thespian, in his movie Buster, this superb vocalist proved staggering. I kept glancing at the stage in case Collins himself had arrived to entertain us. Complete with hairline, an exact vocal match and a great impersonation of mannerisms, this remarkable tribute artist gave us a segued set which was straight out of the tribute top drawer."

An Evening to Remember

The programme draws on Phil Collins' finest solo work from the 1980s and early 1990s, alongside his celebrated hits with Genesis. Audiences can expect a beautifully paced performance rich in musicianship and visual polish, with seven costume changes and a touch of Phil's own wit woven throughout the evening.

Andrew has performed for many of Britain's leading hotel and resort groups, including Park Resorts, Haven, Butlins and Pontins, as well as for the Millennium and Grand Millennium Hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. More recently, he has appeared at the Dragon Hotel and Resort in Bahrain and returned to perform at the prestigious Dilmun Club.
