LIBRARY/DOORS OPEN 6.30pm

EVENT START 7.00pm

Perth’s inner city has historically been a space where LGBTIQASB+ culture and community has thrived, but this has often been in secret or despite surrounding social restrictions. From clubs and venues to protests and parades, explore the spaces that queer Perth has built and claimed as its own.

Join a panel of community ‘elders’ who remember – and sometimes even helped to shape – the spaces that have offered everything from safety and inclusion to sites of resistance for Perth’s LGBTIQASB+ community.

Panellists for this session include Bobby Fletcher, Guy Gomeze, Baz Sioux and Lisa Baker. The session will be hosted by broadcaster, educator and current Talks Producer at RTRFM, Danae Gibson.
